Zerodha MTF (Margin Trading Facility) Charges

Brokerage: 0.03% or ₹20 whichever is lower / per order

Interest Charges: Zerodha charges 0.04% per day + GST for a book size upto 40 lakhs or funded amount is 40 lakhs. The interest is applied from T+1 day until the stocks are sold this cost will be deducted from your gains or added to your losses.

Zerodha Charges

  1. Brokerage – 0.03% up to ₹20 per order charged on equity stocks & FnO order
  2. Zero Commission on Mutual fund

Government Charges

  1. STT (Securities Transaction Tax) – This charges levied by the government on securities and charged on both buy and sell orders for equity delivery & charged only on sell when you trade intraday in equity and FnO.
  2. GST 18% – Charged by government on the services. this is additional charges on brokerage, DP charges, Exchange charges, IPFT, Sebi Ternover and auto square off charges.
  3. Stamp duty charges – Stamp duty charges are a part of state government revenue systemapplicable on the trading of securities.

Regulatory Charges

  1. Transaction Charges – This charges applicable or charged by exchange like nse, bse on the value of your transaction.
  2. SEBI Charges – SEBI a government body regulating the indian securities market charged ₹10 per crore.

DP Charges

  1. ₹13 + GST per script, on the debit day, is charged from the trading account when stocks are sold. This is charged by the depository and depository participant.
  2. Female demat account holders (as first) will enjoy ₹0.25 discount per transaction

AMC Charges

  1. FOR basic service demat account (BSDA): ₹0 when holding less than ₹4 lakh
  2. FOR non basic service demat account (Non-BSDA): ₹300/year + 18% GST applicable and debit quarterly (every 90 days)

NRI Brokerage Charges

  1. ₹100 per order for FnO
  2. Non-PIS account charges 0.5% or ₹200 whichever is lower / executed order
  3. PIS account charges 0.5% or ₹200 whichever is lower / executed order
  4. ₹500 + GST as yearly account maintenance charges (AMC applicable)

Delayed Payment Charges – 18% yearly or 0.05% per day on the debit balance in your trading account.
